I was approached by consultancy firm, Montauk Consulting Ltd, to create a fresh, exciting brand for the business. The Montauk name originates from a town on the East Coast of USA, known for its lighthouse. With this in mind, I aimed to focus the brand around this idea.
After exploring more traditional concepts of a lighthouse, I decided on a more abstract approach based around the light itself. Using the idea of the light guiding people towards the company, the brand developed into a subtle nod to the historic lighthouse. The palette of blues and greens strengthen the coastal roots of the design.
